Organic farming in Montana

Since 2001 Ole Norgaard have been organically farming in Montana. In 2004 he established North Frontier Farms as well as started to grow the Montana Morado Maize to help Dave Christensen realize his vison/dream.

Ole grows a number of crops on his organic farm like spelt, wheat, barely, lentils, peas, alfalfa and the corn. 

Ole has been involved in farming all his life and his dedication to farming and his deep understanding of nature are reflected in both the products that he develops as well as in his farming practices.

His farm is located in central Montana close to the small town of Shonkin and the Highwoods Mountains.
